SoulCast Three is here! Stupid Dance Music Love rave at Millers’ Heartbreak Hotel, Kandava city takes place on the 12th of May! this episode of the Podcast of soulsystems.org is dedicated to the joy of the event coming and is a somewhat one half of an insight to Elvi Soulsystems repertoire for the night; i do hope to get the other half up by next week! this week we have a live session of Kūts Jam at this festival taking place at the Nākotne social club on Saturday (check the gig at my MySpace or the website of the festival)…
back to the subject of the new SoulCast episode… i’d say it’s a disco thing and therefore a house thing but i guess you could argue ’bout that a lot! you might also recognise a few poetry jems, reflections of fusion, afro beat, the grooves they called acid back in the day - things you wouldn’t usually consider “disco”! - but actually the question is simply Do You Feel Like Dancin’? a cast of the featured artists can be found in the description for the episode; read on for a proper track list in detail… here’s the deal… unfortunately, i couldn’t find all the details for all the jems, but it’s got the most… if you’d illuminate my lack of knowledge about certain numbers and/or pick up on the mistakes - i’d be more than pleased!
i’ll get some links working on certain releases and artists later on!
