the long player 2006

decided to post up the album selection too… no order here too! though i can assure you that each of them deserves at least a listen and most of them deserve a repeated play! the long playing year has been indeed also very colourful and i’m happy for this too!

there are things i wish could’ve made it to the general track review of the year but they stood so strong as album tracks i decided it would be better to perceive singles as singles and conceptual albums as albums! especially on the disappointment list the judgement has been rough for i take a long player as a concept and it has to sound good altogether so there are things left out of this that have had great tracks in them but were not strong enough as a whole composite of songs and it may be that there are some that feature
tracks not as great on them but still make a good impression altogether left on the list!

i also selected a relative stand-out track for each long player… so, here’s the year’s recommendations:
