here’s a brand new Elvi joint! i edited over the “first decent post” and cut out the music link as i’ve decided to only post new stuff here (that was an old thing from back in 2003!)!
this one is one i was very afraid to end up rendering out of the sequencer as i was on a beat conducting break for ages then! and it’s cut up from a Blackbyrds (the band formed in the seventies by the one and only Donald Byrd!) title Mysterious Vibes… it’s a return joint but - ironically enough - it’s called All Ova - it’s inspired by being over, over as breaking up a relationship and as being over something or all over something… at the same time! it’s just that people around me have been doing this on an abnormal level lately! there’s this one cut moment when it seems as if they would sing it “oh, why”, but actually it’s just an impression… turns out to be an “oh, why is it over?” or something…
